“The Wildlife Man” David Ireland is in Alice Springs this Thursday night.
The world renown television series and wildlife documentary maker is very excited to be available to visit the Red Centre and personally deliver his shows to Alice Springs locals and Tourists in the region looking for a wonderful Australian outback experience.
Ooraminna Station Homestead, once an integral part of historic Deep Well Station is in the heart of Cattle Station Country in the Central Desert. The pristine desert landscape, red sand dunes and rocky escarpments only half an hour from Alice Springs are the perfect place to host such a wonderful presenter and documentary maker.
The opening show will commence at around 6.00pm on Thursday the of 20th of June 2019 at the Ooraminna Deckchair Cinema in the filmset of Ooraminna Station Homestead. Coach transfers leave Alice Springs at 5.30pm from your selected hotel.
David Ireland, the Wildlife Man himself will present a number of his The Wildlife Man TV series as shown world-wide on major TV networks including Discovery channel. Segments from his series of documentaries will hit the Big Screen at Ooraminna exploring a huge diversity of habitats including: The Australian deserts, rugged mountains and remote arid regions of Australia.
David is arguably one of the worlds most experienced wildlife film producers and presenters, with over 45 years of his life spent working with a huge diversity of creatures. Everything from crocodiles to endangered marsupials, lions, elephants, rhino, buffalo, Australian mammals, dragon lizards, rare insects and deadly snakes.
As well as his Wildlife Man shows, David has come from adverse beginnings himself he will undoubtedly strike a chord with many children and youths in the Alice Springs region with his amazing life story from a troubled start to becoming a world celebrated documentary maker.
